European Public Choice Society
  Call for Papers

The 26th annual meeting of the European Public Choice Society will be held from 20 to 23 April 2006 at Turku School of Economics and Business Administration and University of Turku, Turku, Finland.

The European Public Choice Society promotes scientific research on the economics and politics of public and non-market decision-making, political economy and the economics of institutions.

Submission of papers broadly consistent with these aims is encouraged and should be made via internet at https://epcs06.suvisoft.com/corg/. File format should be doc, pdf, dvi or ps. Authors should also attach an abstract no longer than 100 words in a separate file. Papers must be received no later than December 31, 2005. The Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee is

Submitted papers should include the following information:

1. Conference Name: EPCS2006
2. Title of the paper
3. Name(s) of Author(s) with the name of the person presenting the
    paper followed by an asterisk (*)
4. Institutional affiliation of author(s), with complete mailing address
    and e-mail of the presenter.
5. Abstract of paper.
6. If the paper is to be considered for the Wicksell Prize Competition,
    this should be explicitly stated, with information on the age of
    applicant(s) as of December 31, 2005. If the paper is co-authored, 
    the age of all authors should be stated.

Decisions on acceptance of submitted papers will be communicated no later than January 31, 2006. Registration should be completed before February 28, 2006. The Wicksell Prize

The Wicksell Prize will be awarded at the conference to the person(s) under 30 years of age (as of 31 December 2005) who present(s) the best paper as judged by the Wicksell Prize Committee.
