It is a great pleasure to invite you to attend the 8th Nordic Conference for University Hospitals and Faculty Deans in Turku, Finland, on August 25 - 27, 2004. Our intention is to organise a conference with a most interesting and versified programme on topics common for all the administrators in the university hospitals as well as the medical teachers. Plenty of time will be reserved for fruitful discussion between speakers, panelists and audience as well as for socializing during the breaks and social programme.
Turku is the oldest university town and the former capital of Finland. Our social programme combines the strong academic tradition of our town with famous hospital architecture by Alvar Aalto in Paimio and the most modern patient-oriented new building of the Turku University Hospital completed in autumn 2003.
