It gives us great pleasure to invite you to participate in the XIII Turku PET Symposium and the NACP 2014 Symposium, which will be held on 24–27 May 2014 in Turku, Finland.
The Symposium is targeted to all investigators and staff working with cyclotrons, PET radiochemistry, modelling and software development, as well as preclinical and clinical PET imaging. The attendance should be particularly useful to those who are new to the field or want to broaden their understanding of the rapidly developing research applications of PET.
The PET Symposium has already traditions of over 30 years and the programme covers the whole field from cyclotrons to clinical applications of PET and multimodality imaging. The scientific programme consists of plenary lectures, free papers and posters. In addition, there will be special sessions for software developers.
NACP 2014 Symposium 24 -25 May 2014 is organised jointly with the PET Symposium. The main theme of the NACP Symposium is "Imaging in Oncology" and it is organised together with a National Member Organisation (Sairaalafyysikot ry) and Acta Oncologica, which will publish the papers presented in the Symposium. NACP sessions are focused on Medical Physics, but are available for participants of PET Symposium as well. Please refer to the registration page for more information on registration types and fees.
Furthermore, the program includes the scientific meeting of Scandinavian Society of Clinical Physiology and Nuclear Medicine (SSCPNM). This further expands the programme to other imaging modalities and the methods used in clinical physiology.
Looking forward to seeing you in Turku in May 2014.
