Call for Abstracts
The Finnish Association for the Study of Pain
in Co-ordination with Nordic Countries
We invite you to submit an abstract within the scope of children’s and adolescent’s pain from the perspective of research, management, care and education. Accepted abstracts will be published in the congress proceedings and posters presented at the congress venue.
NOTE! Deadline for the submission of abstracts is 31 May 2010.
Abstracts should be formatted as follows:
- 300 words or less (Not including the title, the authors and their affiliations)
- Text in 12-point Arial font, single-space, uniform margins of 2 cm at the top, bottom, right, and left. Do not right justify lines.
- Title in CAPITAL LETTERS and bolded
- Authors’ names with last name first followed by first name initial/s (e.g. Smith J, Jones KA)
- Affiliations for all authors
- In the actual text use following headings when appropriate: Background, Aims, Methods, Results and Conclusions.
In case your abstract includes pictures, graphics or tables, please send
them as an email attachment directly to anmaax@utu.fi
Abstracts should be submitted electronically through the abstract submission form.
Important dates concerning abstracts in 2010:
- 15 January: Call for abstracts information available at http://congress.utu.fi/pedpain2010
- 1 February: Abstract submission opens
- 31 May : Deadline for abstracts
- 15 May: Author notification of acceptance and the instructions for poster presentations
