The biannual congress of the Nordic Sociological Association / Nordisk sociologförening takes place in Turku (Åbo) Finland 18 - 20 August 2006. The theme of the congress is Dissolution of Society?
Congress keynote speakers include Margaret S. Archer, Mikko Lagerspetz, William Outhwaite and Pekka Sulkunen.
The local organizers are the sociology departments of the University of Turku and Åbo Akademi University. On behalf of the local organizing committee, we wish you all welcome to Turku to participate in the challenging discussions implied by the congress theme: dissolution of society?
