WELCOME Functional Foods Network is a Specific Support Actions (SSA) project financed by the European Commission. It is specially targeted to the European small and medium sized food companies interested in developing new healthy foods. Our aim is to disseminate EU funded research results to SME’s and act as a brokerage forum for researchers and companies in the field of functional foods. The project starts with two general meetings, which are held in Finland and in Germany. After these meetings smaller product specific networks will be established.
