Accommodation

Congress Office has negotiated favourable room prices and reserved rooms for the conference participants in the following two hotels in Turku. Please mark your hotel reservation on the conference registration form (access from the "registration" page). Your reservation will be confirmed together with your participation. Note that the reservations will be made on “first come, first served” basis. The hotel quotas are valid until two weeks before the conference. After that we cannot guarantee the availability of the hotel rooms, but will assist you in finding accommodation. Kindly inform the Congress Office of any changes in your accommodation reservation (congress@utu.fi) The hotel fees include breakfast, service and VAT. All hotel fees are payable directly to the hotels.

Radisson Blu Marina Palace Hotel (congress venue)

Radisson Blu Marina Palace Hotel is located right on the banks of the River Aurajoki, in the heart of the city. The hotel was opened in 2006 after a total renovation. The hotel has 184 stylish rooms. Facilities include wireless and high-speed Internet access throughout the hotel, saunas, and fully equipped gym and beauty saloon. Restaurant Aurora offers Italian delicacies and the elegant library room and lobby bar are ideal to relax with a drink.

A reserved room will be held until 6 pm on the day of arrival. The hotel is entitled to give the room to another guest after 6 pm. If you plan to arrive after 6 pm, kindly fax your credit card information to the Congress Office to ensure that the room will be held until your arrival. You can fax the information using the authorisation form. Note that the hotel will charge your card only in case of late cancellation or no-show.

Room cancellation:
Reserved rooms may be cancelled free of charge by 6 pm two days before arrival (48 hours before arrival). The hotel has the right to charge the guest for cancellations made after 48 hours before arrival or no-shows.

Sokos Hotel Seurahuone

Sokos Hotel Seurahuone is a cosy and individualistic hotel for business and leisure travellers in the very centre of Turku. Comfortable rooms are equipped with TV, minibar, hairdryer and ironing board.
