All conference participants are invited to a Get-together party on Sunday evening. This event gives participants a perfect opportunity to meet colleagues while enjoying light refreshments. Registration desk is open during the reception and also the poster area is open for those who wish to bring their poster and mount it.

Symposium Banquet

at Turku Castle

A festive banquet in Turku Castle will be a truly memorable experience. In the 16th century, Duke John established a luxurious Renaissance court in the castle. Participants will travel back in time to a medieval banquet hosted by Duke John and his charming spouse Catharina Jagellonica.

Steam ship cruise1. Steamship Cruise to Loistokari Island

s/s Ukkopekka departs from the river Aura, by the Martinsilta bridge

 Join a cruise on board the steamship s/s Ukkopekka to the little island of Loistokari in the beautiful Turku archipelago. An archipelago style buffet dinner will be served outdoors on the island, followed by live music and dancing on the quay.

2. Sauna Party in the Archipelago

m/s Sunbyholm departs from the river Aura, exact location will be marked on the conference map

The excursion starts with a cruise through the beautiful archipelago to Airisto on board m/s Sundbyholm. In Airisto, in the Airisto hotels’s new spa section, you can pamper yourself in the different saunas, relax in the outdoor hot tub barrels, or enjoy a refreshing swim in the sea. Remember to bring your swimsuit with you!
Barbecue dinner included.
Return transportation to Turku by bus, the trip takes approximately 45 minutes.
